2 acorn squash (about 1 ½ lbs. each)
¾ cup maple syrup
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup pecans

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut each squash in half crosswise. Remove seeds and membranes. Cut crosswise into ½ inch thick rings.
  2. Arrange rings in 117 inch baking dish; sprinkle with salt. In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over squash. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until squash is tender.
