All cucumbers can be made into pickles, but these cucumbers are grown just for pickles. These plants produce a short cucumber that resembles the gherkins you see in the jars at the store.They grow very fast and need to be picked every day to select the best size before they get too big. We sell three sizes; small ( about the size of your little finger) medium ( will fit lengthwise in a quart container) and large (about as big around as your forefinger and thumb circled or slightly larger). The ex-large are used for sliced pickles.

They also make tasty salad cucumbers. Some people like the smaller size that can be eaten in one meal.

Keep refrigerated. For the freshest results, make your pickles within a day or two of getting your pickles.
